Roasted Canned Chicken

canned chicken

low-sodium or sodium-free spice blend of choice

Tbsp
lemon or lime juice
1/2
cup
water
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the chicken into a casserole dish or cake pan.
Add the spice blend, lemon or lime juice, and 1/2 cup water. Stir until well combined.
Cover the dish or pan with tin foil, then place in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven and enjoy!
Refrigerate leftovers within two hours.
Notes
To lower sodium content, drain and rinse before adding to pan.
You can enjoy the roasted chicken as is, or can add it to a sandwich, on a salad, or in a pasta dish.
