Volunteer with Hunger Task Force!
Hunger Task Force relies on the help of more than 16,000 generous volunteers every year. From food sorting and building healthy food boxes for seniors to helping individuals shop the Mobile Market and harvesting at The Farm, we need your help. Explore the array of volunteer opportunities below to learn more about ways to get involved. Fill out a volunteer application now to start the process right away!

Before applying to volunteer, please consider the following policies to make sure you are eligible:
- Volunteers must be 16 to apply, children younger than 16 may attend only with an adult who is volunteering.
- Volunteers seeking to complete service hours must apply 2-3 months prior to when their service hours must be completed. We cannot guarantee frequent or extended volunteering opportunities to meet hour requirements.
- Due to high volunteer interest from schools and youth groups, opportunities may be limited to once per year for these groups. Group volunteers must be 16 or older. Please reach out for additional information about youth opportunities, including hosting a food drive or educational tours.
- Groups who intended to volunteer to meet work, court-ordered, or benefit requirements will be ineligible to volunteer.
- Individuals required to volunteer under court order or as part of a mandated work program will not be considered.

Help build Stockboxes – a monthly box of healthy foods – for low-income seniors in Milwaukee.
Mobile Market
Help pack groceries for Mobile Market shoppers who live in Milwaukee’s food desert communities.
Warehouse
Hunger Task Force needs volunteers at our West Milwaukee headquarters to help with day-to-day tasks.
Special Events
Volunteer at a variety of fun community events, from parades, fundraisers, runs, festivals and more.
Office
With mailings, filing, phone calls and data entry, Hunger Task Force needs help in the main office every day!
School Garden
Come out to The Farm and help in our School Garden – opportunities to plant, tend and harvest fresh produce.
