Healthy Food Incentive Program

Hunger Task Force registered as a Lobbying Principle in support of a Healthy Food Incentive Program in Wisconsin on February 5, 2024. This program requires the Department of Health Services to contract with one or more nonprofit organizations to administer a program that enables SNAP/FoodShare recipients to double their dollars for purchasing fruits and vegetables at local retailers. Governor Evers signed the bill into Law on March 22, 2014.
