Roasted Canned Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb canned chicken
  • 2 tsp low-sodium or sodium-free spice blend of choice
  • 1 Tbsp lemon or lime juice
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Place the chicken into a casserole dish or cake pan.
  • Add the spice blend, lemon or lime juice, and 1/2 cup water. Stir until well combined.
  • Cover the dish or pan with tin foil, then place in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and enjoy!
  • Refrigerate leftovers within two hours.

Notes

  • To lower sodium content, drain and rinse before adding to pan.
  • You can enjoy the roasted chicken as is, or can add it to a sandwich, on a salad, or in a pasta dish.
