Garlic and Herb Baked Chicken Breast

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Tbsp butter room temperature
  • 1 tsp dried parsley*
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano*
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil*
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 2 chicken breasts boneless and skinless

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Mix butter and all spices together, including salt, until the mixture becomes a paste.
  • Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel, then place them on a baking sheet or in a casserole dish. Spread the butter mixture over each chicken breast.
  • Bake the chicken for about 20 minutes, until it reaches an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees F.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice as desired.
  • Refrigerate leftovers within two hours.

Notes

*You can replace parsley, oregano, and basil with an Italian blend or other herb blend of choice.
