Easy Pizza Sauce

Herbs add delicious flavor to our foods and are full of nutrients as well. Mix in your favorite herbs to make this pizza sauce fit your taste buds just right!  

Equipment

  • Small bowl
  • Spoon   
  • measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste, no salt added  
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp olive or canola oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or ¼ tablespoon garlic powder  
  • ½ cup fresh herbs, chopped or 1 ½ tablespoons dried herbs  (oregano, basil, sage, rosemary, etc)

Instructions
 

  • Wash hands with soap and water.  
  • Mix together the tomato paste, water and olive oil.
  • Add garlic, herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. No cooking is needed.  
  • Let stand until ready to assemble pizza.
