So far this year, HAFA has served more than 1,961 individuals at its client choice food pantry at which shoppers can select the items they wish to eat from the pantry shelves. This operation model has preserved dignity by letting clients decide what they want to eat and improved service quality and can reduce food waste.
Louie Gentine and Hunger Task Force Have Partnered for More than 20 Years to Provide Real Food for Wisconsin Families
For more than 20 years, Louie Gentine has joined Hunger Task Force in the fight against hunger by donating both cheese and capital so families can receive free food on the day they need it and in the neighborhood they live in.

Hunger Task Force Receives $750,000 Donation from Kohl’s to Help Reduce Food Insecurity in Milwaukee
Kohl’s is continuing its 14-year support and partnership with Hunger Task Force with a $750,000 donation to provide healthy food for families and children facing hunger. The Kohl’s donation comes at a critical time as the federal government recently announced that households will receive their last extra COVID-19 FoodShare payment.
