Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton Inspires Families During “12 Days of Khrismas” Community Service Day
Hunger Task Force had the honor of hosting Milwaukee Bucks Forward Khris Middleton for a holiday food sort and healthy cooking demonstration during Khrismas Community Service Day, part of his “12 Days of Khrismas” initiative. During the event, Khris joined volunteers to sort and prepare healthy food donations, which will be distributed to local pantries, meal sites and shelters in the Hunger Task Force emergency food network, free of charge.
Led by a member of the Hunger Task Force nutrition education team, Khris also participated in an interactive nutrition education lesson with local families, preparing nutritious breakfast pancakes and blending healthy smoothies. Families additionally learned how to prepare Goodles – a nutrient-packed pasta.
Khris Middleton’s “12 Days of Khrismas” is a heartfelt initiative where the Milwaukee Bucks star completes at least 12 acts of service to uplift communities in Milwaukee, Charleston, and Shreveport. This grassroots campaign focuses on events, donations, and experiences that bring joy to families, educators, essential workers, and others in need. Middleton also emphasizes supporting minority-owned businesses by purchasing and distributing their products as part of holiday gift bags. His commitment to giving back exemplifies the power of community-driven change.
