Hunger Task Force Welcomes Kim Muench as Development Director

Oct 11, 2024

The principal strength of Hunger Task Force is its compassionate and committed staff. As an anti-hunger organization, Hunger Task Force hires individuals with an array of skills and talents and the cultural awareness to best serve our diverse community. We are thrilled to announce Kim Muench has joined the team as Development Director.

Kim is no stranger to the general Milwaukee Community. She joins the Hunger Task Force team with nearly 17 years of fundraising experience at Alverno College and Saint June the Apostle combined.

In her new role, Kim will manage Hunger Task Force’s fund and resource development, direct donor relations and stewardship activities and oversee partnerships, the Volunteer Program and events. Kim has a knack for developing strong relationships with donors and has a track record of providing excellent stewardship, gift acknowledgement and donor recognition.

Kim was born and raised in the Milwaukee area and is thrilled to work for Milwaukee’s only Free & Local food bank and Wisconsin’s anti-hunger leader.

Hunger Task Force is Milwaukee’s Free & Local food bank and Wisconsin’s anti-hunger leader. The organization’s core values are Dignity, Justice, Equity, Compassion and Stewardship. Hunger Task Force feeds people today by providing healthy and culturally appropriate food to hungry children, families and seniors in the community absolutely free of charge. Hunger Task Force also works to end future hunger by advocating for strong public policies and nutrition programs at the local, state and federal level.
