Milwaukee Bucks All Star Khris Middleton Tours Hunger Task Force Following Large Food Donation
Milwaukee Bucks All Star forward Khris Middleton and his family foundation toured Hunger Task Force’s new food bank following a large food donation made after the Bucks 2022 playoff run. During the 2022 NBA playoffs, Middleton and his family foundation partnered with Goodles, a California-based company producing high-protein mac & cheese, to direct food donations to organizations fighting hunger. Middleton chose Hunger Task Force as the home-town Milwaukee recipient of 6,240 boxes of Goodles. Goodles is mac & cheese reimagined, with 14 grams of protein, 21 plant nutrients, real cheese and probiotics.
“Hunger Task Force is grateful for this generous gift by the Middleton Family Foundation,” says Sherrie Tussler, Hunger Task Force Executive Director. “Khris is not only a World Champion for our hometown Milwaukee Bucks, but he and his family are also champions for kids in our community. We are thrilled to welcome him to our food bank and share first-hand the difference he is making for local kids.”
The boxes of Goodles are being distributed free of charge to local food pantries throughout Milwaukee County at a crucial time, when many summer meal sites feeding kids have already closed for the season before school begins.
