Rooted in Milwaukee, with a passion for good food and strong community, Nick Fallucca and Palermo Villa Inc. demonstrate a deep commitment to their hometown. With a legacy built on family and a business grounded in generosity, their dedication to giving back runs deep. Through their ongoing partnership with Hunger Task Force, Palermo’s turns purpose into action—connecting a company built on feeding families with a mission focused on ensuring no one goes hungry.

“At Palermo’s, giving back isn’t just something we do,” shares Nick. “It’s part of who we are, both in the community where we’re based and in the neighborhoods where our employees live and work.”

Nick is a third-generation leader at Palermo’s Pizza, the Milwaukee-based food company his grandparents, Gaspare and Zina founded after immigrating from Sicily in 1954 with cherished family recipes. From those humble beginnings grew a Milwaukee staple, famous for brands like Palermo’s, Urban Pie, Connie’s Pizza and Screamin’ Sicilian.

Nick’s connection to our community goes far beyond pizza. He carries a genuine passion for people and a heartfelt commitment to addressing food security. He puts this passion into action, generously donating his time and expertise. Nick serves on the Hunger Task Force Executive Council and on the board of Kinship Community Food Center, a Hunger Task Force emergency food network member, showcasing a commitment to feeding local kids, families and seniors.

Nick’s belief in giving back, inherited from his grandparents and woven into the fabric of Palermo’s Pizza, makes a tangible difference in the fight against hunger. For years, Nick, the Fallucca family and the Palermo’s Pizza team have championed the Hunger Task Force Free & Local mission by donating product and sponsoring the food bank’s “Easter Baskets for the Hungry” program, now in its 17th year.

“Our partnership with Hunger Task Force is something we truly value, especially when it gives our team the chance to volunteer at the annual Easter Baskets for the Hungry event,” reflects Nick. “It’s powerful for our employees to roll up their sleeves, work alongside the Hunger Task Force team, and directly help families in need with dignity and compassion. Coming together like this is a meaningful way we can make a real impact.”

Each year, the Easter Baskets for the Hungry program provides hundreds of families with a holiday ham, Palermo’s pizza and other healthy staples.

Hunger Task Force is grateful for friends like Nick and the Palermo’s Pizza family, whose vital support directly fuels our mission. Their partnership represents a significant investment in the well-being of our shared Milwaukee community.
