Partner of the Month: Enerpac | March 2025

Mar 7, 2025

Hunger Task Force isn’t just Milwaukee Free & Local food bank – we’re a community. We believe in the power of collaboration, and that’s why we’re thrilled to recognize our amazing supporters through “Partner of the Month,” a platform to celebrate the incredible local organizations, businesses and companies who join us in the fight against hunger. They donate food, volunteer their time, raise awareness and provide financial support – strengthening our work in preventing hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need today and by promoting social policies to achieve a hunger-free community tomorrow.

Enerpac

A premier provider of industrial tools, services, technology and solutions, Enerpac Tool Group Corp. serves customers in more than 100 countries. Founded in 1910, the company recently relocated its headquarters from Menomonee Falls to downtown Milwaukee, strengthening its commitment to the local community.

For the past five years, Enerpac has been a dedicated partner in Hunger Task Force’s mission to end hunger in Milwaukee. Employees have regularly volunteered at The Farm and at our West Milwaukee headquarters, making a tangible impact in the fight against food insecurity.

Enerpac’s contributions at The Farm have been significant—particularly in the planting of fresh produce. For the past two years, Enerpac employees have planted tomatoes, with their most recent effort in 2024 covering three-quarters of an acre—approximately 1,350 tomato plants—ensuring that fresh, nutritious food reaches families in need.

Since 2021, 96 Enerpac employees have contributed over 300 hours of service, demonstrating the company’s ongoing dedication to fighting hunger.

Beyond volunteering, Enerpac has been a generous donor through its annual Thanksgiving virtual food drive. Employee contributions are matched not only by Enerpac’s Lifts Up community giving program but also by the Enerpac Leadership Team, creating a triple impact. Over the past two food drives, Enerpac has donated over $10,000 to Hunger Task Force, ensuring families across Milwaukee have access to healthy food during the holiday season.

Enerpac Engineering Manager and longtime volunteer Eric Norquist expressed his pride in the company’s commitment: “The direct impact of food relief provided through Hunger Task Force for those in need cannot be highlighted enough, and I’m proud our company supports this great local cause.”
