Hunger Task Force Celebrates Touchdowns for Hunger Success with Sargento and Packers alumnus John Kuhn
The Green Bay Packers and Sargento teamed up again this season to fight hunger across Wisconsin through the Touchdowns for Hunger™ program. On Tuesday, Dec. 10, Hunger Task Force proudly accepted a donation as part of this impactful initiative, which is now in its 22nd season. The program was emceed by Stephanie Sutton, WISN 12 sports anchor.
With 40 touchdowns scored so far during the 2024 regular season, Sargento has already contributed over $53,000 to Hunger Task Force. Every regular-season touchdown by the Packers will continue to add $2,000 to the total donation, with the final amount calculated at the season’s end.
Packers alumnus and legendary fullback John Kuhn #30, a two-time Super Bowl champion, was a special guest at the event. Kuhn helped thank and celebrate Hunger Task Force volunteers and staff from the Hunger Task Force network of food pantries, meal sites and shelters that directly serve Milwaukee families, seniors and children. Event attendees had the opportunity to meet Kuhn, who graciously signed autographs and shared his appreciation for their vital contributions to the community.
Since its launch in 2002, Touchdowns for Hunger has raised more than $1.85 million, helping provide over one million meals to families in need. Hunger Task Force is proud to work with partners like Sargento who are equally committed to creating a hunger-free community.
