Buy-A-Bag Program Makes a Difference: Outpost Donates Over 80,000 Pounds of Non-Perishables and Produce

Hunger Task Force is thrilled to announce a recent generous donation from Outpost Natural Foods Co-op through their Buy-A-Bag program! This incredible contribution of 80,420 pounds of food will help nourish countless families facing hunger in our community.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Outpost Natural Foods Co-op, their owners and their amazing customers whose contributions made this donation possible. Their ongoing support through the Buy-A-Bag program is truly making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

A breakdown of the bountiful donation:

• • Non-perishables: 32,164 pounds of canned green beans, corn, diced peaches, wild rice, toasted o’s cereal, and cereal bars.
  • Fresh produce: 48,256 pounds of potatoes, carrots, and apples.
