Jun 13, 2024

In its ninth season, Cousins Subs generously donated $20,650 through the Block Out Hunger Campaign to Hunger Task Force to help feed children and families experiencing hunger in the Milwaukee Community. Through the campaign, Cousins Subs, through its Make It Better Foundation, donates $50 to Hunger Task Force for every block the Milwaukee Bucks have during the regular season. This season, the Milwaukee Bucks had 413 blocks for a total of $20,650 donated to Hunger Task Force. Since its inception in the 2015-16 season, the Block Out Hunger campaign has raised more than $170,000 to support Hunger Task Force in the fight against hunger.

To celebrate another season of giving, a press conference was held in the Hunger Task Force Volunteer Center, during which key executives from all three organizations gave remarks. Following the press conference, staff at the Milwaukee Bucks and Hunger Task Force built 200 Stockboxes filled with non-perishable food items that will be distributed to low-income seniors throughout Milwaukee County.

Hunger Task Force is Milwaukee’s Free & Local food bank and Wisconsin’s anti-hunger leader. The organization’s core values are Dignity, Justice, Equity, Compassion and Stewardship.
